Shangani Hotel is located in the heart of Zanzibar Stone Town along Kenyatta Road, just opposite the popular old post office. All major Banks and main tourist attractions are within walking distance from Sangani Hotel. These include the Old Dispensary, Beit al Ajaib, The Old Fort, Tippu Tippu’s house etc. The distance from Zanzibar Airport is 15 minutes drive and from the harbour its only 5 minutes drive.
The old stone buildings, winding streets and traditional Arab architecture with famous door carvings are the main surrounding features of the Hotel. The Hotel itself genuinely boasts of the same architecture with traditional furniture and spacious lounge setting.
