Terms & Conditions of Contract
PRICES:
Prices are based on rates and other costs prevailing at the time
of publication of price lists and are subject to change without
prior notice.
RESERVATIONS:
A
deposit of a minimum of 30% of the tour cost is required on booking
and the balance not later than 38 days before the tour begins.
Notwithstanding any prior confirmation of arrangements, the right is
reserved not to execute tours if payment has not been received in
accordance with the foregoing.
BOOKING & AMENDMENTS FEES:
To
cover communication and other administrative costs, we include a fee
of USD 10.00 per booking in all our quotations. No fees will be
charged on amendments or cancellations before confirmation.
CANCELLATION:
In
the event of cancellation after confirmation, notice of which must
be given in writing, the deposit will be refunded minus the charges
for reservations that have been processed, cancellation fees imposed
by hotels/lodges and transporters and any other relevant expenses.
If
cancellation is received within 21 days of commencement of tour, a
cancellation fee of 50% of the total land arrangements will be
charged, and a charge of 100% if cancellation is made within seven
days of commencement.
RATES:
Rates include all expenses in connection with the vehicle and driver
for the itinerary as set out, hotel/camp accommodation with full
board table d’hôte meals whilst on safari unless specified
otherwise. Government hotel tax and service charges and park
entrance fees are included (unless quoted separately).
Not
included are any airfares (unless stipulated as part of an air
safari itinerary), airport taxes, visas, gratuities, tips,
beverages, laundry or other such personal expenses.
ACCOMMODATION:
Whenever possible we book rooms with private baths/shower (except on
budget camping safari), throughout the itinerary on the basis of two
persons sharing a double room. Single rooms where available are
charged at a supplement. The hotels/Lodges/Camps in the itineraries
are mentioned as an indication of category and rooms may be reserved
at similar hotels/lodges/camps.
TRANSPORTATION:
Safari minibuses, with pop-up roofs, cars, four-wheel drive (Landrovers/Landcruisers)
vehicles and seats on light aircraft for air safaris will be
provided according to the itinerary and number of participants.
English-speaking driver/guides are provided. Special couriers/Tour
guides will be supplied on request at an extra charge.
ALTERATION TO TOURS:
The
right is reserved to change any route or arrangements, should
conditions necessitate, to offer substitutes of equal value, or to
cancel the operation of any scheduled tour. The right is also
reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of
any tour at any time, in which event an equitable amount will be
refunded.
LIABILITY:
The
company and its agents act only as agents of the passenger in all
matters relating to hotel accommodation, sight seeing, tours and
transport. The company’s liability to passengers carried in its own
vehicle is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour
takes place and not any other country. All claims are subject to the
jurisdiction of the courts of the country in which the action
arises. The company reserves the right to employ sub-contractors for
all or part of the services. The Company cannot be held responsible
for loss or damage to baggage.
